our kitchen
As mentioned before, Ryan and I moved so that we could get a puppy! A large part of the fun though, for me, was the chance to decorate and imagine a new space. We started with a pretty ugly canvas, so we had to scrub, paint and scrub some more in order to safely bring ourselves and our stuff into this abode. But we truly made this shack into a love shack. Here's some photos of our kitchen.

petunia the puppy
My first post on my new blog about crafts and other crafty things, of
course, is about my new puppy! The reason Petunia belongs to this post
is because she will be an inspiration to, a receiver of, and a model for
many of my projects. Also, because she is just so crafty herself.
Only nine weeks old and learning so many commands and getting a hang of
house breaking. Couldn't of asked for a better puppy. Couldn't of
asked for a better life.
Petunia was adopted from a local no-kill shelter from a litter of about 7. She's, according to the shelter, a golden retriever mix. She is truly the light of our lives. I had been awaiting her arrival for several months (longer than her actual life, I know). We had to move in order to get a dog, but all the work was certainly worth it. You'll see the work we did to our new rental house in future blogs.
